I lost a good shimano rod and reel many years ago. I was in the back of the boat, set my rod down and my dad had asked me to get something out of one of the back hatches. I got what he needed but in doing so it flipped my rod in the water. We were in about 20ft of water. We drug with big treble hooks for an hour. Never found it. I still miss that rod and reel!

Have the exact engine and did just what you did , I wish you had show the finishing part , I replaced the end cap , added oil and now somehow the motor does not want to go up or down

I bought a 1992 17’ Astro (pro craft) with a 90hp in excellent condition for $2500. Spent a day cleaning and buffing and $320 for nice new seats (4 of them). Best boat I’ve ever owned. It catches the same fish that my friend catches with his 32k boat lol

You can't see that big red channel marker....seen a ton of experts like you sink their boats on Erie..... don't come here you will sink it...but learn to read markers so you don't endanger urself and everyone else

I bought this for my son not actually knowing what it was. I cut that tab off. You can unscrew and take off the left side of the reel and I loosened the screw that was holding the spool. It is almost like there is a rubber piece holding that spool. Since then it works great! It works like a standard one.

Would like to hear details about how you set up your different rods. Line? Leader? I enjoy your channel.
